St.
Jude Parish has one Parish Nurse. An unpaid volunteer who give their personal
time to this ministry. They work with our Priests, the Eucharistic Ministers, Home Visitors and other parish groups to identify congregational health needs. Parish Nurses provide support and nurturing to our parish members, their families and friends in times of crisis, illness, or other difficulties to help meet spiritual, emotional, and physical health needs." Our Nurse
knows where to find parish and community resources that can help.
The Nurse can not, however, provide hands on nursing care
or take the place of your physician or Home Health Nurse. Sending
requests for these services to the Parish Nurse program might cause
delays in obtaining vitally needed medical assistance. If you have
a question about a specific service, we urge you to first contact
your personal physician, and then if your question is not answered, call
Claire Coffey @ 877-8751 or 903-3710. She will be happy to provide
whatever information she can. |
