At St. Jude School our core curriculum includes Language Arts, Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies and Religion. We incorporate a variety of teaching strategies to meet the different learning styles of our students. By using a variety of strategies, each child is allowed to achieve his/her maximum potential. We follow the curriculum of the Diocese of Knoxville which is aligned with the State of Tennessee and national standards.
Specialists teach PE, music, computer and art. A Spanish Enrichment Program is offered in Kindergarten through Second Grade.
Internet accessible computers are available in the computer lab and all classrooms. They are loaded with grade specific software.
Religion is taught daily as an academic course with special projects such as Catholic Schools Week used to highlight the curriculum. Students attend Mass twice a week, once with their building and once together with the whole school. Parishioners, parents and visitors are encouraged to join us at Mass.
