St.
Jude School is open to all children in the surrounding Chattanooga region;
however, due
to class size limitations,
the following policies are used for admittance:
- 1st priority to all current students who have fulfilled registration
requirements.

- 2nd priority to siblings of children already attending St.
Jude School.
|
- 3rd priority to Catholic children of St. Jude Parish or any
other area Catholic Parish that does not have an elementary
school.
|
- 4th priority to Catholic children from another Catholic Parish
that has an elementary school
|
- 5th priority to Non-Catholic children.
|
Admittance for any student will
include consideration of prior conduct marks. Students requiring
additional resources will be handled on a special basis.
Admission Procedure
Before a child's application
can be considered, the following information must be in the
school office:
- A copy of the current report card.
|
- A copy of child's most recent standardized test scores (TCAP,
Iowa Basics, etc.).
|
- Completed Pre-registration card in the Admission packet with
$45.00 processing fee.
|
- Visitation & interview for prospective new students
|

Tuition
All Parishioners of St. Jude
are asked once a year to prayerfully decide what they can return to
God through the parish in the areas of time, talent, and treasure. More
information concerning the parish can be found at www.stjudechattanooga.org
.
Tuition is charged for out-of-parish and non-Catholic students.
