Schoenstatt: A Way of Life . . .

Schoenstatt is a Catholic lay movement that strives to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the example and guidance of Mary.

Catholics in the U.S.A. are latecomers to this worldwide apostolate of the Blessed Virgin Mary, and here in the South we are just now starting to learn about a way of life centered on a personal Covenant of Love between each person and Mary under the title of Mother Thrice Admirable.

You are invited to find out how this unique spirituality in the Church can make Christian Discipleship more tangible and in tune with God's will.

Through a spirituality of everyday sanctity, Schoenstatt offers ways to integrate our Catholic faith into modern life in accordance with the virtues of faith, hope, and love.

Begun in 1914 in the valley of Schönstatt (translates as "beautiful place" in English)Germany, by Fr. Joseph Kentenich (pictured at right; once imprisoned in Dachau by the Nazis, today his cause for canonization is being considered.) This movement or apostolate has changed the lives of millions on every continent.
