St. Jude's God's Quilts Ministry has been in existence for about 6 years. In that time we have made and DELIVERED 805 quilts to needy people in the Chattanooga area and the Appalachian Mountains. Since we only have between 10 and 15 members in our ministry, we are very proud of being able to give warmth to 805 people.

All the material for the quilts is donated by our very generous parishoners, plus a few outside sources. This year we even had a serger given to us, enabling us to already have finished 151 quilts.

The Ladies of God's Quilts meet on Mondays at 9:30 A.M. from September thru May in the PLC. We invite you to join us. NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. Our "Quilting" is different from quilting as most of you know it. Our quilting consists of tying knots between layers of material. It is not difficult to do, anyone can do it, so please come and join us for a morning of good works and fellowship.
